Most 3-year-olds talk in short sentences, run and climb, and are learning to use the toilet. A child who is hard to understand, cannot jump with both feet together or has lost skills is worth taking to a GP. The new Medicare Healthy Kids Check starts on 1 November 2026 and is bulk billed at Thorpe Street Health in Rockingham.
