We do not have a monitored phone message service. The best way to reach us is to call during opening times.
Reception is on (08) 6147 6547, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
When We Call You
If we need to call you, such as when your doctor asks to see you about a result, we use the number on your record.
We check we are speaking to you before we talk about your health, so please keep your details up to date with reception.

Our email inbox is checked periodically during business hours, and it may take up to 24 hours (or longer over weekends and public holidays) for your email to be reviewed.

- We cannot provide medical advice, diagnoses or treatment recommendations via email. Please arrange an appointment with your GP.
- Test results and prescriptions
- Please contact reception to arrange an appropriate appointment or follow-up. How results and recalls work.
- Privacy
- Please avoid sending sensitive personal or medical information by email unless specifically requested by our practice.
Interpreters and Help Communicating
If you need an interpreter, an Auslan (Australian sign language) interpreter or other help communicating, tell reception when you book on (08) 6147 6547. We will arrange it, and book a longer appointment if you need one.
Phone interpreting through TIS National, the Australian Government's interpreting service, is free for patients who are eligible for Medicare. Interpreters, Auslan and other support.
Feedback and Complaints
If something about your care or our service was not right, tell reception or call us. You can also email our Practice Manager, Krystal Thomas, at pm@thorpestreethealth.com.au. Making a complaint will not affect your care.

Closed public holidays
Pathology collections run a shorter day. Australian Clinical Labs collect in the building from 8:30am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday, and not at weekends. Pathology details.
Within those hours we cover general practice, chronic disease management, health and skin checks and vaccinations. Ring reception and say roughly what it is about, and they will book the right length.

This GP clinic is not an urgent care facility. In the case of an emergency, call triple zero or present to your closest emergency department.
